Chris Lewis has earned the respect of judges, peers and clients by zealously defending his clients with skill and integrity. Having tried more than 100 jury trials and having obtained many more dismissals and favorable agreements for his clients, Chris Lewis has been called a "top-flight criminal defense lawyer".
After graduating magna cum laude from Evangel University with a double major in Government and Psychology, Chris attended Baylor University School of Law, earning a law degree with a criminal law concentration. Upon graduating from law school, Chris Lewis began his legal career as a prosecutor. He prosecuted criminal cases in Harris, Williamson and Dallas counties before transitioning to a civil litigation practice. From 2000-2004, Chris worked for one of the largest civil trial law firms in Texas representing large corporations in lawsuits across the State of Texas. In addition to litigation matters, Chris defended clients accused of various misdemeanor and felony offenses in Dallas and around the state.
Chris, a former four year starter and all-conference football player in college, spent several years working as a sports agent. Certified by the National Football Players’ Association and registered by the Texas Secretary of State, Chris represented NFL, CFL and AFL players in contract negotiations.
Currently, Chris Lewis’ practice is devoted entirely to defending people accused or being investigated for committing criminal offenses. Chris Lewis is passionate about people and protecting their rights, and he is determined to provide his clients with the best possible representation in defending their freedom.
